Is there really any difference between voting for Sarah Palin and voting for a third party candidate like Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party?
I only have one vote and I take that responsibility very seriously and I want to vote for someone who take it (my decision) seriously. With Mrs. Palin I feel like I do when I consider voting for a third party. There is a nagging feeling that says "This is not a serious choice to spend you vote on."
Given the strains of the Presidency and McCain's age I have to think of her as the one running for President, to do otherwise would be disingenuous. I have to ask myself if I would vote for her for President and the answer is no.
I have voted Republican in elections all my life, but I have given them the benefit-of-the-doubt and then regretted it too many times in the last eight years to be a loyal to the party any more.
So, I am left with one vote and one serious candidate, Obama. I have my problems with him, but when it comes down to it, I trust him more than I do McCain or Palin. That does not mean that I trust in completely, but I think he will do a better job than Palin.
So, now , do I support my candidate of choice with more than just my vote?

Her car had skidded on icy roads into a telegraph pole on Christmas Eve, 1969. Her pelvis and one arm were shattered by the impact and she suffered massive internal injuries...
In 1979 – while still married to Carol – he met Cindy at a cocktail party in Hawaii. Over the next six months he pursued her, flying around the country to see her. Then he began to push to end his marriage...
But Ross Perot, who paid her medical bills all those years ago, now believes that both Carol McCain and the American people have been taken in by a man who is unusually slick and cruel – even by the standards of modern politics. ‘McCain is the classic opportunist. He’s always reaching for attention and glory,’ he said. ‘After he came home, Carol walked with a limp. So he threw her over for a poster girl with big money from Arizona. And the rest is history.’ "
Adviser Says McCain Backs Bush Wiretaps
New York Times - A top adviser to Senator John McCain says Mr. McCain believes that President Bush’s program of wiretapping without warrants was lawful, a position that appears to bring him into closer alignment with the sweeping theories of executive authority pushed by the Bush administration legal team.
